Yesterday we announced the dates for a scheduled UKCP L2 Alpine course for Les Houches in January (11-16th). This will take place just after the Anglo-Scottish/BSA Champs (3-7th) and the Scottish FIS Races (5-6th and 9-10th) in the Chamonix Valley.
If you could spread the word at your club to anyone who may be interested in gaining the L2 award that would be great – more information on the course, including pre-requisites, can be found here. The course itself costs £450 but funding is available via the John Hynes Fund for Coach Education for anyone coaching at a Scottish club. Funding may also be available through local Councils for those who are coaching with their local clubs.
