It’s coming up to that time of year again where Christmas plans are underway. Gordon Skiers will be hosting their annual fun Christmas Races at Alford on Sunday 14th December during the normal training session. The action packed morning will be followed by a Christmas Lunch at Alford Golf Club. The morning will see any members who wish to race put into mixed teams and racing between all teams will take place, who will be champion this year? Details on the racing will follow in due course.
Christmas Lunch at Alford Club will commence at 1pm. We have managed to agree with the venue of a price of £20 per Adult and £10 for Under 12’s. At present we need to gauge numbers of those who will be attending so if you are planning on attending then please let James (racing@gordonskiers.com) know, number of Under 12's and number of over 12/Adults. A menu is also attached for your viewing. Once we get numbers in we will get further details out, we are still discussing the logistics of ordering with the Golf Club.
The final day of training encompassing the racing and the lunch is a fantastic way to round of what is turning out to be an excellent autumn training season. It is a good way for new and old members to meet up and catch up with everyone else in the club.
