Good Morning All
That is all the ‘training’ sessions finished for this year BUT this Sunday we will have the Annual Xmas Races. These will take the same format as last year with team dual slaloms making up most of the mornings events. There will be a short period to warm up on the courses and then racing will commence.
It is always a great morning and good fun to participate and watch. We would urge as many folk to attend. We would like to encourage/persuade some of the adult members of the club to stick on their skis and boots and join in with the teams, it is always good fun and the kids love to see their parents give it a go. All the teams will be made up this week using the times from previous weeks to try ensure that we have as equal teams as possible.
PLEASE let me know by Wednesday 8pm who will be racing this weekend (that includes the parents as well J ). We will then make up the teams and these will either be posted on the blog before Sunday or be made available on Sunday morning. For those not skiing, your services may be required to help on the day. We hope that everyone gets the chance to stand and watch the racing as it can get very close and competitive which makes a great spectacle.
We had a skiing Santa last year, what will I decide on this year ??
