Cairngorm Ski Club - Summer Indoor Ski Camp

Cairngorm Ski Club are trying to run a summer training camp at an indoor slope in Belgium. They need four more athletes to make it happen and have asked if any of our members would like to join them. See the info below for details.

"We are offering the opportunity for 10 of our athletes train on an indoor ski dome in Belgium this summer.  Dates 31st July-4th August

• The camp is for ages 11 to 17
• This is a 4 day session with slalom training and dry land training. 
• There will be 8 x 2 hour sessions on snow. This will be primarily gate training.
• Dry land fitness and stretches in between times.
• Included is accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel is 1km from the snow dome and the expectation is that we can walk between the 2 venues. Access to the snow dome for the days we are there, training lanes and coaching.
• There will be one coach and one parent helper.
• As this is an indoor environment with consistent elements and conditions it allows the skiers to really focus on the details of their technique which provides an intensive training opportunity.
• Cost of the camp excluding flights estimate is £400
