Summer Seeded Events, Info From Snowsport Scotland

With the Twin peaks coming up at the start of June and then the GBR Indoor and Scottish Indoor Alpine Championships (13-14th June) the races will start to use the new age categories:

• U10 – 2006 or younger
• U12 – 2004-05
• U14 – 2002-03
• U16 – 2000-01
• U18 – 1998-99
• U21 – 1995-97
• Senior – 1994 or older (Masters categories may apply)

Scottish Indoor Alpine Championships 2015

No sooner has the snow season finished and it is time to start thinking about the indoor and dry slope season!

These races book up fast so get your entries in now so we can get a strong Gordon Skiers entry. Last year this was a great weekend away for everyone.  Please let James know once you have entered on the racing@gordonskiers.com email address.

Twin Peaks is the weekend before this but as yet there are no details and entries are not open, we will keep an eye out for them opening and post here when they are.  Towards the end of last years dry slope season we built up a really strong Gordon Skiers entry in the races at Hillend.  It would be great to keep up that momentum this season.  These weekends are great fun for parents and skiers alike.

Bairns Bucket, Sunday 19th April 2015

Seems the season isn't over after all!

The Bairn's Bucket is scheduled to go ahead this Sunday and we have a few entries from the club. We need to know if we have enough entries going to justify providing coach support. Please email Gary on gary.whatford@btinternet.com ASAP to let him know if you intend going.

Gordon Skiers AGM, Learney Arms Hotel, Torphins, 18th June.

A really important date for your diary.  Our AGM will take place on Thursday 18th June at 7.30 pm at the Learney Arms Hotel in Torphins.

This is your opportunity to influence the running of your club.  We have made a number of changes over the last year with the Performance Squad, new website and communications strategy etc etc. This is your chance to feed back to us how it has worked for you and how you would like to see things moving forward.

It would be great to see at least one member of each family at the meeting. This is an advance notice to allow you all to make a space in your diaries, an agenda will be posted nearer the time.
